Dr Stavroula Patrikakou graduated from the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2006.  From 2006 to 2010 she worked voluntarily at the Prefecture Hospital of West Attica, Agia Varvara which was equipped with dental lasers. During  this time she also worked at different practices which  specialised in Periodontology. In 2009 she attended modules I and  II of the “Sola laser academy course”.In 2015 she received accreditation  as a laser safety Officer from the University of Aahen in Germany and in 2016 she completed the Master course “Lasers in Dentistry” at the same University (AALZ). From 2010 she works in different practices focusing on  laser dentistry and laser assisted periodontal therapy, while maintaining a private dental practice. She has participated as aspeaker in numerous conferences.
