Zirconia bridges

A bridge is the structure used for the restoration of a lost tooth, which requires the drilling and covering of the teeth adjacent to the gap. Zirconia is a metallic yet white material that has replaced the traditional metal-ceramic (or porcelain-fused-to-metal) bridges, which, in time, develop a grey "collar" around the gums and can also be responsible for allergies in the gums. They have high aesthetic qualities, are biocompatible and resilient. They are used as an alternative to implants when the gap relates to only one tooth.
