  • Extractions

The procedure for the removal of a tooth from the dentition is called extraction. Our main aim is prevention and the preservation of teeth in the dentition creating beautiful smiles. However, sometimes (the frequency is, fortunately, decreasing thanks to prevention), and, in certain cases, extraction of some teeth is necessary.

The main reasons for extraction are: trauma, caries, and periodontal disease. Quite often, however, extractions are also performed for orthodontic reasons. 

  • Surgical removal of impacted and semi-impacted teeth
  • Sinus lift with or without the use of some type of graft
  • Apicectomy
  • Surgical crown lengthening 
  • Temporomandibular joint problems
  • Removal of oral nodules
